Stella Succar passed away with family by her side on Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Boutros Succar. Stella Succar was born in San Francisco, California on February 6, 1932 to the late Anton and El Jesser. Stella met and married Boutros and moved to Lebanon where together they raised their five children, Jules, Jeannette, Giselle, Jihan, and George. She was a devoted mother and grandmother giving her time and talent to family and friends. Stella enjoyed delicious cooking, embroidery, stitch work, crafts, hosting all and being the matriarch of her family. Stella’s was spiritually exemplified as a woman of faith and in the heart of the Succar family. Stella loved to pray to her Savior. She sought to nurture her love, faith and gift of joy through her constant smile, laughter and joking. These traits will never be forgotten. Her spirituality was shaped by her tireless Christian example. Chatting with family and friends, playing games/cards especially with children, family, friends and others brought a zest to life. Stella is survived by her children George, Jeannette, Giselle and Jihan, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Boutros Succar and son Jules. Stella was a member of St. Anne’s Church where she enjoyed her fellowship and various activities.
