Rene Macon

July 13, 1966 - April 2, 2018

On the afternoon of Monday, April 2, 2018 the angels wrapped their arms around our dear Rene Macon and escorted home to be with the Lord. Rene, was born to the late James Macon and Annie Mae Macon on July 13, 1966 in Henderson, North Carolina. Rene attended the Paterson Public school system. Rene graduated from Eastside High School. Rene was employed by Jersey Boilers located in Paterson, New Jersey for seventeen years. Everyone who encountered Rene instantly felt his warm spirit from his heart he shared with so many. Rene knew how to keep a smile on everyone’s face and always had a joke to tell. Rene was known for being a great cook, a great provider and a personal handyman to everyone. If it was broken “trust” Rene could fix it! Rene also loved fishing, barbequing, and even a cold one from time to time along with a shot of Paul Mason. Rene leaves to cherish his memories and loveable heart his loving Wife Edith Sue Macon, his Mother Annie Mae Macon of Paterson, three children Shamara Dixon (Omar)of Newark, Briana Macon of Paterson, New Jersey, Terrance Macon of Paterson, New Jersey sister Angela Gregory (Kenyon) of Greensboro, North Carolina, brother Ray Macon of Greensboro, North Carolina & Fiancé Janelle Crumper, Julian Macon of Paterson, three step children, Nelson, Tiffany, Eddie, three grandchildren, Dahmere Watkins, Xzaveon Watkins, Harmony Macon, fourteen step grandchildren, his Jersey Boilers work family along with a host of other relatives and best friends Revill & Ray. Rene was predeceased by his Father James Walter Macon and his brother Randy Macon. Rene, will forever be missed, but always in our hearts.
