Italo Torchiani

Italo Torchiani, 69, passed away on November 15, 2010 in Passaic. Born in Lima, Peru, he came to the United States in 1960 and settled in Paterson. He was a retired Superintendent of Weights and Measures for the City of Paterson. He was a physical therapist for the Metro Stars Soccer Association, now known as the Red Bulls. He was a parishioner of St. Theresa's R.C. Church of Paterson. He is survived by his wife, Martha ( Cecilia Gonzalez), a son, Renzo of Virginia, his brothers Agusto Lucero of Peru and Emilio Diaz of California, a sister Petty Diaz of Peru, and his grandchild, Charlize.
