Earlene Williams

April 3, 1955 - July 6, 2020

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" II Timothy 4:7 Our beloved Earlene Williams entered into eternal rest on Monday July 6, 2020 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. Earlene was born to the late Gena Lee Harper and Eddie Lee Saunders on April 3, 1955 in Florence, South Carolina. Earlene was raised and lived in Paterson, New Jersey for most of her life. Earlene worked for BJ Wilkerson Day Care Center in Paterson, New Jersey as a cook for many years.  Earlene was married for over thirty years to the love of her life and soul mate Robert Williams. Earlene was known for her cooking and motherly instincts. She captured joy with her beautiful smile.  Earlene was a faithful and lifelong member of The Seminary Baptist Church in Paterson, New Jersey. Earlene was proceeded in death by her parents Gena Lee Harper and Eddie Lee Saunders, two sisters Jennifer Saunders and Diane Hickson. Earlene leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Robert Williams, three children Robert Lamont Wiiliams (Tanneca) of North Carolina, Deborah Smith (Marshal) of South Carolina and Tenecia Williams of Paterson, New Jersey. Six grandchildren Khadija McKenzie, Davon McKenzie, Jasmine M. Williams, Brion T. Spruill, Khalil Smith and Bryson Williams. Four Great Grandchildren, Payton, Aminah, Amaya and Kairo and not forgotten two God Children Shydera Spann and Yolanda Williams. Six sisters Deloris Leonard of South Carolina, Donnie Mae of South Carolina, Della Saunders of Detroit, Shirley Saunders (Chris), Ida Dailey (Mike) and Icy Bell Mason all of Paterson, New Jersey.  Brother in law Larry Williams of Florida, Isaac Williams, sister in laws Gussie Williams, Barbara Williams all of Paterson, New Jersey. Earlene, touched so many life's far to many to mention and will be missed by so many other relatives along with a host of friends and her Seminary Baptist Church family and dear close friend Denise Sumter. Even during times of social distancing, anyone who has suffered a loss deserves love and support more than ever before.
